Guruvayur, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey (House Boat), Cochin

This tour package picks you from Cochin and drive to Guruvayoor with stay at Cochin. We cover Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey on subsequent days with 21hrs cruise in houseboat.
Day 1 – Cochin to Guruvayoor to Cochin
- Drive to Guruvayoor.
- Visit the famous Guruvayoor Krishna temple.
- After darshan, you can visit the elephant care center where more than 50 elephants are kept.
- Drive back to cochin and for the overnight stay.
Note:
- You may not be able to get closer to the elephants but watch them from a distance.
Day 1 – Cochin to Munnar
- Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar.
- Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations and Spice Garden on the way.
- Reaching Munnar, rest for the day at the hotel.
Day 3 – Munnar
- Start at 9 AM to visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum.
- Post lunch: Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu Viewpoint and Botanical Garden.
Note:
- The Park tickets can be booked in advance or purchased from the counter
- The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
- Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
Day 4 - Munnar to Thekkady
- Start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady drive will take 3-4 hours.
- On reaching Thekkady, you may go for boating in Periyar Lake to watch the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter).
- In the evening, you can enjoy optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages on direct payment basis.
Day 5 - Thekkady to Alleppey
- Drive to a resort at Alleppey.
- Visit Alleppey beach and can go shopping.
- Enjoy the amenities in the resort for a day.
- Overnight stay at the same resort.
Day 6 - Alleppey Houseboat
- Houseboat Check-in is at 12.
- Houseboat will start at Noon and cruises till evening 5. pm.
- The boat will be anchored till the next morning.
- 1-hour cruise in the morning before check out at 9 am.
- There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
- In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 7 - Alleppey to Cochin
- Visit Alleppey beach and drop at Cochin.
- Cochin sightseeing includes Fort Kochi, the Navy museum, St Francis church, the Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz basilica, Mattanchery palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway, boating, Tripunitura hill palace. (if time permits)
- Shopping opportunity in Cochin before drop. (if time available)
- Our representative will drop you at Cochin Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend necessary support required there.
- Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip.
Note:
- Hill Palace: 9 AM – 5 PM, closed on Mondays.
- The Dutch palace is closed on Fridays.
- Synagogue: 10 AM – 1 PM & 3 – 5 PM, closed Fri–Sat.
