8 Days, 7 Nights Munnar, Vagamon, Aleepy, Kovlam Kerala tour includes 2 nights in Munnar, 1 night in Vagamon, 2 nights in Alleppey and 2 nights in Kovalam.
Day 1 – Cochin to Munnar
- Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar.
- Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations and Spice Garden on the way.
- Reaching Munnar, rest for the day at the hotel.
Day 2 – Munnar
- Start at 9 AM to visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum.
- Post lunch: Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu Viewpoint and Botanical Garden.
Note:
- Eravikulam Park is closed Feb–April (Nilgiri Tahr breeding).
- Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
Day 3 – Munnar to Vagamon
- Drive to Vagamon from Munnar.
- Visit Pine trees, Tea plantations, Meadows, Orchid garden, Thangal para, Murukan mala, and Kurisu mala.
- Overnight stay at Vagamon.
Day 4 – Alleppy Houseboat
- Drive to Alleppy.
- Houseboat Check-in is at 12.
- Houseboat will start at Noon and cruises till evening 5. pm.
- The boat will be anchored till the next morning.
- 1-hour cruise in the morning before check out at 9 am.
- There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
- In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 5 – Alleppey
- Drive to a resort at Alleppey.
- Enjoy all the amenities of the Resort for a day.
- Visit Alleppey beach, and can go for a shopping if interested.
- Overnight stay at the Resort.
Day 6 – Alleppey to Kovalam
- The journey from Alleppey to Kovalam by road will take 4 to 7 hours depending upon the heaviness of traffic on the way.
- On reaching Kovalam, the renowned Kovalam Beach can be visited.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 - Trivandrum/Kovalam
- On this day, we can either go for Trivandrum city tour or spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
- Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala Temple and Planetarium.
- Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Note:
- Sree Padmanabha Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
- Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Mondays.
Day 8 - Trivandrum drop
- For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
- You can go for a shopping at Trivandrum, and our representative will leave you at Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend necessary support there.
- Dearture for your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip.
