Day 1 - Trivandrum/Kovalam
- On this day, we can either go for Trivandrum city tour or spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
- Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala Temple and Planetarium.
- Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Note:
- Sree Padmanabha Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
- Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Mondays.
Day 2 - Trivandrum/Kovalam
- On this day, we can either go for Trivandrum city tour or spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
- Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala Temple and Planetarium.

Day 3 - Kovalam to Kanyakumari
- Drive to Kanyakumari, which is the southernmost tip of the main land of India.
- Sightseeing includes Kanyakumari beach, which is the Sangam of the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Arabian sea.
Visit Vivekananda rock (8Am to 4PM).
- Watch sunset and stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 4 - Rameswaram
- Drive to Rameshwaram.
- At Rameswaram, you can visit Hanuman temple, Pamban Bridge, Navpanigriham, Dahanskodi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, 24 Kundalas, Ram Paravath, Sita Paravath, Hanuman Paravath, and Vishnu Temple.
- Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 5 - Thekkady
- You have two nights at Thekkady, either relax or continue with the missed-out activities mentioned above.
- You can even go for eco-tourism activities such as a full-day Gavi tour, trekking, Bamboo rafting, natural walking, Green walking, tiger trail, jungle patrol, etc (all are optional with separate entrance fees).
- Overnight stay at Thekkady (Read our blog on Thekkady for more details).
Day 6 - Thekkady to Munnar
- Drive to Munnar from here.
- Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 7 - Munnar
- Start at 9 AM to visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum.
- Post lunch: Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu Viewpoint and Botanical Garden.
Note:
- Eravikulam Park is closed Feb–April (Nilgiri Tahr breeding).
- Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
Day 8 - Cochin
- Drive to Cochin.
- Subject to time, visit Fort Kochi, Navy Museum, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, boating, Tripunithura Hill Palace.
- Shopping option in Cochin if interested.
- Drop at Cochin Airport/Railway/Bus station and assist as needed.
Note:
- Hill Palace: 9 AM – 5 PM, closed on Mondays.
- Dutch palace is closed on Friday.
- Synagogue: 10 AM – 1 PM & 3 – 5 PM, closed Fri–Sat.
