This 5Days 4Night Alleppey Thekkady Munnar Tour Package picks you from Cochin and move directly to Alleppey Houseboat for 21hrs cruise and move towards Thekkady and to Munnar and Cochin on last day.
Day 1 – Cochin to Alleppey Houseboat
- Drive to Alleppey and check-in to Houseboat at 12 Noon.
- Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with the cruise till 5:30 pm.
- The boat will be anchored till the next morning.
- 1-hour cruise in the morning before check out at 9 am.
Note:
- There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
- In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 2 – Alleppey to Thekkady
- The drive from Alleppey to Thekkady requires about 4 hours.
- On arrival, go for the boating to enjoy Periyar wildlife sanctuary.
- In the evening, watch martial arts, Kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, musical fountain and experience an Ayurveda massage (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees, It is advisable to book online tickets for Periyar Boating in advance as it is very difficult to get tickets during tourist seasons, vacations and week ends as well).
Day 3 – Thekkady to Munnar
- Drive to Munnar from Thekkady.
- Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 4 – Munnar
- Start after breakfast to visit Eravikulam National Park — home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
- Explore the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Pothamedu Viewpoint and the Botanical Garden.
- Return to the hotel by evening for overnight stay.
Note:
- Eravikulam National Park remains closed from February to April during Nilgiri Tahr breeding season.
- Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
- Carry comfortable footwear and a light jacket for sightseeing.
Day 5 - Munnar to Cochin
- Pick up from Munnar and drop at Cochin.
- Cochin sightseeing includes Fort Kochi, the Navy museum, St Francis church, the Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz basilica, Mattanchery palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway, boating, Tripunitura hill palace. (if time permits)
- Shopping opportunity in Cochin before drop. (if time available)
Note:
- Hill Palace: 9 AM – 5 PM, closed on Mondays.
- The Dutch palace is closed on Fridays.
- Synagogue: 10 AM – 1 PM & 3 – 5 PM, closed Fri–Sat.
