This tour package covers Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey Houseboat with 21hrs cruise, Kanyakumari, Kovalam.
Day 1 – Cochin to Munnar
- Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar.
- Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations and Spice Garden on the way.
- Reaching Munnar, rest for the day at the hotel.
Day 2 – Munnar
- Start at 9 AM to visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum.
- Post lunch: Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu Viewpoint and Botanical Garden.
Note:
- The Park tickets can be booked in advance or purchased from the counter
- The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
- Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
Day 3 - Munnar to Thekkady
- Start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady drive will take 3-4 hours.
- On reaching Thekkady, you may go for boating in Periyar Lake to watch the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter).
- In the evening, you can enjoy optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages on direct payment basis.
Day 4 - Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat
- Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey and check-in to Houseboat at 12 Noon.
- Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with the cruise till 5:30 pm.
- The boat will be anchored till the next morning.
- 1-hour cruise in the morning before check out at 9 am.
- There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
- In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 5 - Alleppy to kanyakumari
- Starting from Alleppey in the morning and drive to Kanyakumari.
- As the travel from Alleppey to Kanyakumari requires a minimum of 9 hours by road, it is better to start latest by 8 AM.
- Can watch sunset if reach Kanyakumari sufficient early (with less probability) and stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 6 - Kanyakumari to Kovalam
- Watch sunrise/sunset (depending on climatic conditions), visit Kanyakumari temple and Vivekananda rock (8 am to 4 pm).
- Drive to Kovalam in the afternoon and check in to the resort.
- Visit Kovalam beach in the evening and overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 7 - Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin drop
- For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
- For the Cochin drop, drive back to cochin (7hrs).
Note:
- It is advisable to book a return flight or train from Trivandrum to save traveling time to Cochin.
- Our representative will leave you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend necessary support there.
- Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip.
